Welcome to our Restaurant Spotlight series! Each week, we’ll feature just a few of our rockstar restaurant partners in our cities. This week? We’re showing you what we’re serving up in your Chicago catering.

Chicago’s food scene is decidedly its own. It’s where dripping-with-grease sandwiches and Michelin-starred establishments can coexist in foodie harmony. It’s where restaurateurs from all kinds of backgrounds can showcase flavors they grew up with to hungry diners wanting more.

Don’t even speak the words “deep dish pizza” to a true Chicago foodie, because that’s for the tourists. We know this, deeply, and we will never do that to you! So instead, you can look forward to a day of Chicago catering from some of the city’s finest food purveyors. We’ve come up with a list of a perfect day of eating with just some of our Chicago catering restaurants.

Chef-owner, Steven Rife, opened up Claremont Diner earlier this year setting out to create a hangout where people go for the food but stay for the ambiance. The Tri-Taylor neighborhood gem instantly became just that, with its 1950s-style and upscale spin on American diner classics.

Lucky for all you Chicago diners out there, you can wake up to Claremont Diner’s already-legendary breakfast catered straight to your office! Load up on Claremont Diner’s yogurt parfait (with all the toppings) and meaty bacon or sausage before settling into your spreadsheets.

Firenze Italian Street Food is one of those classic Chicago places that does one thing really, really well – and that’s Italian sandwiches. Thrillist even named this Florence-inspired spot one of the best sandwich shops in Chicago. That’s high praise for a city known for juicy meats sandwiched between two pieces of hearty bread. And we couldn’t agree more.

They’re bringing Florence to Chicago with supreme-quality Italian meats and cheeses piled high on fluffy, homemade bread. With items like their fresh, cheesy Caprese sandwich and spicy and salty Sopressata sandwich, we couldn’t possibly choose a favorite!

SoJu BBQ, headed by chef-owner Jake Lee, brings the bold, rich flavors of his native South Korea to the West Loop. The meat-centric (and vegetarian friendly!) restaurant is an ode to his late mother’s cooking and her dream of opening a restaurant. With his own takes on traditional kalbi and bulgogi, we’ll try anything that’s coming out of the SoJu kitchen.

Whether you’re new to Korean barbeque or you grew up eating it, there’s something for everyone on this menu. End your busy workday with SoJu’s spicy, tender meats and pickled vegetables.

Happiest Hour

Start the party early with Chicago catering darlings, Tikka ‘n’ Curry. Their scratch-made curries and bold flavors are no match for your run-of-the-mill vegetable tray or cheese platter (although, don’t get us wrong, we love cheese). Their spice blends serve as an icebreaker and a tummy-tamer.

Nibble on traditional, potato-filled samosas and slurp up sweet and creamy mango lassis. If you’re truly missing that cheese tray though, they’ve got a mini cake made of rich ricotta cheese and studded with nuts and cardamom. Turn your next office networking night all the way up to 11 with Tikka ‘n’ Curry’s sweet and savory bites!
